Request a review of the decision
You may not agree with our decision. Tell us why via email (benctax@fife.gov.uk), and we'll review your application and get back in touch with you.
Review requests should be made in writing within 2 months of the date from your decision letter or revised bill.

Appealing the decision
If you're still not happy following the review request, you can appeal to the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland Local Taxation Chamber. This is independent body and part of the Scottish Tribunals Service.
You must appeal within 42 days of receiving our review decision. If you do not receive a response about your review request within two months you can appeal directly to the Local Taxation Chamber.
