What happens after your request

After we receive your enquiry, we'll try to contact you to discuss it further. A phone call is usually the quickest way to do this. We can have a more detailed discussion around what your expectations are.

We may be able to recommend specific equipment or a minor adaptation from the information you give us. This will only be where you have given us enough information to make a safe choice.

We may ask you for some measurements of rooms, or about your height and weight. This is to make sure that anything we recommend will be suitable.

Most of the time, however, we'll need to visit you at home to carry out a full assessment.

We have a high demand for assessments so this may take a while. You will be put on a waiting list and it's prioritised by highest risk first.

You will receive a letter confirming that you are on our waiting list. This will provide you with a contact number if your situation changes while you're waiting.

A member of the team will contact you once we've arranged your assessment. We will confirm a suitable time to visit.
