Free school meals and clothing grant

October holidays

Parents and carers of children who receive Free School Meals based on benefit entitlement will get a payment of £26.00 per child (£2.60 per day) for the October holidays.  There is no need to apply for this payment, it will be made into your bank account on Wednesday, 8 October.

If your child is in Primary 6 or 7 or S1 to S3 and receiving free school meals based on the Scottish Child Payment, you will not receive this payment.
