Elections and Electoral Registration

The Annual Canvass is underway

Every year, we check that the electoral register is up to date.

Received a letter or email from the Electoral Registration Officer about the electoral register? All you need to do is follow the instructions, so we know you’re registered and ready to vote at the forthcoming Scottish Parliament elections due to be held on Thursday 7 May 2026.

To find out more, go to our Annual Canvass page.

Our elections team are happy to help if you have any queries. You can email them at voters.roll@fife.gov.uk or give them a call on 03451 55 55 11, Option 3.

Your Postal Vote

You may have received correspondence from the Electoral Registration Officer about renewing your postal vote or refreshing your signature for your postal vote. Visit our Apply to vote by post or proxy page and read the Postal and Proxy Voting FAQs for more information.
