Pupils at Lynburn primary school in Dunfermline have said a huge THANK YOU to the bin crews who have been collecting wasteLynburn Primary School's Green Team during lockdown.

The school’s Green Team, with their teacher Mrs Lang, have been working hard to achieve their 4th Eco Schools Green Flag award and have been thinking about what would happen if we didn’t collect waste for recycling, how messy our streets might be and what else could happen.

The pupils put up a banner on the school’s bin store for the crew to see and were thrilled to be able to say a socially distanced thank you when they stopped by at the school!   A member of the Green Team prepared a speech which she read to the crew to show just how much their work is appreciated.
