Early learning and childcare Training & Careers

Saving...

Education and Children’s Services have developed an apprenticeship programme which allows us to train and develop our own workforce. This scheme will allow suitable candidates to gain valuable experience on the job and develop new skills along with gaining the essential qualification, an SVQ level 3, Social Services Children and Young People, which is required for entry into the position of Early Years Officer.

This programme is open to everyone, no matter what work background you already have, whether you have decided to change direction in your working life or have been away from work for a while, this opportunity is open to all.

As part of the selection process within recruitment, you'll be expected to attend a group skills session. There you will take part in various tasks to see if you are suited to this career.

All our vacancies, including apprenticeships, are advertised on the myjobscotland website.
