Templehall Community Hub
The new state-of-the-art Community Hub opened to the public on Monday 27 April 2026.
This £15m development forms part of the Council’s wider plans to regenerate the local area, replacing several older facilities, including the former Templehall Community Centre and the Argos Centre.
As the first community facility in Fife to be delivered to Passivhaus Classic Standard, the hub has been designed with exceptional insulation and airtightness, ensuring a comfortable environment throughout the year while significantly reducing energy use.
The modern hub provides a welcoming, inclusive space, bringing a range of services, activities and facilities together under one roof.
The hub offers a wide range of accessible and adaptable spaces, including:
- Library with flexible areas for activities like Bookbug
- Training kitchen for skills development and community use
- Community spaces for all ages
- Private meeting rooms
- Outdoor seating and growing areas
- Computer room
- Changing Places facilities
- Outdoor Multi Games Area (MUGA)
- Bright reception area
The project was delivered in partnership with Hub East Central Scotland and BAM Construction.
