Riverside Town Park

Working from sketch designs prepared by Gravity Engineering, in consultation with local skaters, Property Services developed the design, prepared contract documents and administrated the project to provide the construction of a concrete skatepark.

The skatepark caters for skateboarders, in-line skaters, roller skaters and BMX bikers, from beginner level to advanced users, as well as being used for competitions. The skatepark has floodlighting, allowing it to be used in the evenings, providing more opportunities to improve fitness and skills levels, as well as discouraging anti‑social behaviour.

The project has the support of the whole community and is proving to be very popular.
