Rosslyn School is a purpose-built special school located as part of Windmill Community Campus incorporating Viewforth High School, a local library and a local council office.

Currently the school caters for pupils with complex additional support needs within the Kirkcaldy area. Pupils range in age from 3-18 years and we have links for inclusion opportunities with our local Nursery, Primary Schools and Secondary provision.

The school currently has four classrooms, a life-skills room and a multi-purpose room.

The school has a sensory room and calm room and has developed an outdoor sensory area which is accessible to all.

We work very closely with parents and other professionals to deliver a curriculum designed to meet individual needs.

Each class has a Class Teacher and a team of Pupil Support Assistants who plan for and deliver a curriculum with a focus on learning in context. We access community resources including local shops, swimming pools and make use of local buses as well as having our own adapted mini-bus.

We have an open door policy and welcome parents at any time as well as visitors who wish to see our lovely facilities.
