Dunmore Nursery

Dunmore Nursery opened in 1960, so we celebrated our 50th Anniversary in 2010.  The Nursery is situated in the village of Ballingry, a former mining community, and occupies its own site in the middle of a housing estate.

The building is a single-storey with one large and one small playroom, a kitchen, dining area, laundry, staff room, office and Extension room.  There is a nappy changing area. From each playroom, doors open onto an enclosed area with safety matting, an enclosed garden, a roadway for bikes, and a large grassed area.

We provide pre-school education for 3 & 4-year-olds and have provision for Early Entry places (Under 3's).

The Nursery has strong links with the local community and other support Agencies.

We have created a welcoming ethos and encourage parents' involvement in a variety of formal and informal ways.
