From 1 June 2026, new parking tariffs have been introduced across Fife.

The changes will apply to all pay and display parking, residents’ parking permits and season tickets. The increase was agreed as part of the Council’s budget setting process in February 2026.

This is the first increase in parking tariffs across Fife since 2016.

Cllr Altany Craik, Fife Council's spokesperson for Finance, Economy & Strategic Planning said: "Parking charges have remained unchanged in Fife for a decade, and this modest increase is necessary as part of the savings agreed in our February budget. We have worked to keep the rise as low as possible while ensuring we can continue to manage and maintain parking services across Fife."
