Residents parking permits

Service Update

A number of residents parking zones in Fife are currently suspended (see table below). If you live in one of these zones, there is currently no need to apply for, or renew, residents permits at this time. This suspension applies only to time limited waiting where there is a residents exemption. All other restrictions and time limits remain enforceable and should be observed.

If you live in an area shown in bold in the table, the restrictions are enforceable. You must have a valid permit for your vehicle or observe the time restrictions which are in place. Details on the residents parking zones, including how to apply for a permit, can be found within the publications at the bottom of this page.

NOTE: From 30th May 2022 the Inverkeithing, Markinch and Burntisland residents permit schemes will be back in operation. If you are a resident in one of these areas, please ensure you have a valid permit.
