A dedicated childminder based in Rosyth has been awarded the highest possible grades across all areas in her latest inspection by the Care Inspectorate.
The unannounced inspection, completed on August 1, 2025, rated Angie Harrison’s service as ‘Excellent’ in every category - a rare and commendable achievement.
Angie, who works in partnership with Fife Council to deliver childcare for eligible youngsters, was praised for her nurturing, personalised care, rich learning environment, and sector-leading leadership.
Inspectors highlighted her commitment to children’s emotional wellbeing, her creative and responsive approach to play and learning, and her strong relationships with families.
Children in Angie’s care benefit from daily outdoor adventures, including beach visits and forest walks, which support their physical development and connection with nature.
Her home setting is described as safe, inspiring, and exceptionally well-resourced, with opportunities for imaginative play, risky exploration, and environmental learning.
