Christie Park, Leven officially opened

The newly refurbished play area within Christie Park in Leven is now complete and open.

Fife Council is delighted to announce the completion of the £165,000 play area which is a safe environment for children of all ages and abilities and features state of the art equipment including climbing units with slides, springers, spinners and a wheelchair roundabout.

This new play area has replaced equipment that has gradually been removed over the last few years as it reached the end of its safe operational life.

Councillor Linda Erskine, Spokesperson for Communities, said: "I’m incredibly proud to see this new play area open, which has been made possible through the council’s investment in our community.  Christie Park, Leven
