Learners from Dunfermline High and Beath High Community Use Centres have successfully completed British Sign Language (BSL) qualifications following a year-long programme of study.
Certificates were presented the to eleven BSL Level One learners from Dunfermline High Community Use and ten BSL Level Two learners from Beath High Community Use on Monday (25 August).
The courses, which ran from August 2024 to June 2025, required participants to pass three rigorous examinations and were delivered by experienced tutor Maria Gilmour, whose dedication and expertise have been widely praised by learners and staff alike.
New BSL Level One courses are now underway at both centres, and there's still time for new learners to enrol. These programmes offer valuable communication skills and support inclusive learning across the community.
