Help to shape how you get around FifeGraphic promoting the survey

What are your challenges in moving around Fife? Don’t miss your chance to say how you would like to get out and about in the future. The Travel Survey to gather people’s views, ideas and experiences on travelling in and around Fife, closes this Friday 4 March 2022.

This survey will help us to develop a new Local Transport Strategy that will set out the vision and action plan for transport in the region for the next 10 years.  We are seeking the views of those live, work or travel to and from the region to shape the approach. Tell us what the main problems and opportunities facing the transport network in Fife are and what could be done to improve how people travel around.

The survey so far has had 1100 responses. That is 0.3% of the population of Fife. Many more people need to participate in order for this to properly reflect the people of Fife. It is easy to get involved with the Transport Strategy - simply follow the link www.fife.gov.uk/transportstrategy.

Councillor Altany Craik, Convener - Economy, Tourism. Strategic Planning & Transportation Committee, Fife Council, said: “Transport gives us access to work, education and essential services. It shapes the places we live, impacts our health and wellbeing, but it is also one of Fife’s biggest sources of carbon emissions. Your views, ideas and experiences will help us shape a fairer, greener and more accessible region.”
