Are you looking for a job or thinking of a change of career? We have been upgrading our jobs site to make it easier for people to find and discover their ideal job with Fife Council.

Our job site now at Fife.gov.uk/jobs, has dedicated areas and a whole range of support and advice for those searching and applying for our jobs. By setting up a job alert you could find out when jobs you are looking for become available. Set which categories interest you and see when new jobs are advertised. The site search and filter function will help you to sort through the numerous jobs by Location, Relevance, and set your Top 5 Categories.

We are always looking for dedicated people to join the team to help us create a more successful, confident and fairer Fife.  We offer a whole range of career opportunities and as we are an accredited Living Wage employer, we guarantee that you will earn more than the National Minimum Wage regardless of the role you choose! Not only that but we also offer an occupational pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, flexible working opportunities and a range of other employee benefits.

We have included clear information about the application process, advice on completing the application form, writing your supporting statement and submitting your application.  We want to make it as easy as possible to make your application and secure an interview. We have even included advice on what to expect at your interview, which due to current restrictions will happen either by video call or over the phone.

Dedicated areas for Carers, Teachers and young people provide more detailed information about the range of jobs on offer within these categories. What’s more is that if you can’t find what you want here, one of the Frequently Asked Question’s will most likely offer a solution!

Sharon McKenzie, Head of Human Resources, said “We know that how we work matters more than ever before. As a council, we recognise the need for equality and diversity in our workforce to help us to build a better, fairer Fife and provide the wide range of local services needed by the people and places in Fife. We’re determined to encourage the best people in our communities to come and work with us. Whatever your job at the Fife Council, you can make a positive difference”
