Christmas is almost here but you can still show your support for local businesses by purchasing the new ‘Scotland Loves - Fife Local Gift Card’. This week Sonia Latinis from the Pittenweem Chocolate Company is showing off some of her delicious wares that can be bought with the Fife Gift Card.

The Scotland Loves Local Fife Gift Card is the perfect way of treating someone to the very best their local area has to offer, whilst supporting local businesses and livelihoods.

Sonia said about the card, "Pittenweem Chocolate Company is a champion of Fife’s exciting food producers, makers, artisans, and family-run businesses. We love introducing loyal customers and newcomers to local products, services, and experiences, via our cafe menu, shop, and collaborative events.

"With this in mind, signing up to the Fife Gift Card is another natural choice for us. We hope it encourages more shoppers - and community businesses - to enjoy, support, and celebrate the treasure trove of talent right on our doorstep.’'

The Fife Gift Card is unique to Fife and can only be spent in businesses that have a 'bricks and mortar' presence in Fife - meaning that spending stays in Fife for longer. The Scotland Loves Local campaign is a national initiative designed to encourage all those who live in Scotland to think, choose and spend local first.

Treating someone to the gift of local is simple. The Gift Cards can be purchased from www.lovelocal.scot/giftcard. Simply choose a gift card for a region of Scotland and load it with a value of your choice, and your recipient can see where they can spend their gift card on the region’s directory page.
