Recycling Centres closed

This article is more than 3 years old

We’ve taken the decision to close all Recycling Centres in Fife with immediate effect and for at least 3 days. This is following the announcement by the Prime Minister and the First Minister on 23 March 2020 that every citizen must stay at home (except for very limited purposes). These closures are also in line with Scottish Government guidance on social distancing and are for the safety of everyone.

This applies to all Recycling Centres:

  • Closed – Cowdenbeath
  • Closed – Cupar
  • Closed – Dalgety Bay
  • Closed – Dunfermline
  • Closed – Glenrothes
  • Closed – Kirkcaldy
  • Closed – Ladybank
  • Closed – Lochgelly
  • Closed – Methil
  • Closed – Pittenweem
  • Closed – St. Andrews

Given the ongoing situation and impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), this information will be updated with further advice on disposal of household waste when available.

We thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
