What could you do in Guardbridge with a share of £20,000?

Do you live in Guardbridge, and have ideas about what is needed to help to revive community life in Guardbridge?

Guardbridge community is going through a major period of change. The development of St Andrews University’s Eden Campus will bring new people in to work in the village. New housing developments will see the size of the village double over the coming years.

A consultation in 2016 identified the need for improvement in the social aspects of Guardbridge, including opportunities for community interaction. More recently, the coronavirus pandemic has impacted many aspects of our day-to-day interactions with others.

Time to Revive the Guardbridge Community is a new public consultation which goes live on Friday 7 August 2020. It offers the opportunity for local people and community groups to come forward with proposals for projects that they think would benefit the community.

What could you do in Guardbridge with a share of £20,000?

The consultation is open to anyone who lives in Guardbridge, and community groups and/or voluntary organisations in the area.  A maximum of £5k on each project can be obtained.

£20,000 has been made available for the area. Following the consultation over the summer/autumn the community will be given the chance to vote for their favourite ideas.
