Can you help create a fitting memorial for Fife babies whose ashes weren’t returned to their families? We’d like the views of as many bereaved parents as possible.to help us create the kind of memorial you’d like to see in Fife.

While we know nothing can make up for the hurt caused, we'd like to help create a fitting memorial for all the families to share.

Earlier this year we began a consultation to gather views but had to put it on hold as Covid 19 took over and we went into lockdown. It hasn’t been possible to hold public or group meetings since but we are very keen to start this project moving forward again.

We created an online questionnaire so you can tell us what type of memorial you would like and where it should be placed. We want this memorial to be as personal to each of our families as it can be. To do that we need to hear from as many of you as possible.

You can complete the questionnaire here: https://www.fife.gov.uk/babymemorialconsultation

If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. You can do this by sending an email to babies.memorial@fife.gov.uk and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.

If you need to discuss your experiences, we can put you in touch with organisations that provide specialist support.
