Work to restart - Guardbridge traffic lights: planned programme of works

*** To conclude the carriageway works on the A91 new bridge, Guardbridge, the Contractor (Castle Group Scotland Ltd) have confirmed that traffic lights will be in place on Tuesday 11th August 2020, where they aim to complete all works impacting the carriageway on this day, minimising any future disruption as a result of the bridge repair works.***

Repair works to the A91 New Bridge, Guardbridge, will restart on Monday 13 July 2020 following the closure of the site due to Covid-19. Work is expected to last around 5 weeks and traffic lights will be in place on certain days. To help commuters plan their journeys, we're providing advance notice of when traffic lights are scheduled.

Here are the dates for the latest planned works (please note these are subject to change).

Structural Services – A91, Newbridge, Guardbridge works.

17 July 2020 - Off Peak Lights (9:30am - 3:30pm)

23-24 July 2020 - Off Peak Lights (9:30am - 3:30pm)

30-31 July 2020 - Off Peak Lights (9:30am - 3:30pm)

5-7 August 2020 - Off Peak Lights (9:30am - 3:30pm)

11 August - Off Peak Lights (9.30am - 3.30am)

Off- peak traffic lights will be in place on these days to help minimise congestion. Traffic lights will only be used when necessary and only between 9:30am and  3:30pm to try to minimise disruption at peak times.
