Early Years Officer Modern Apprentice training has been so successful for Fife Council we will be reopening the Modern Apprenticeship on 23 March 2020.

If you are interested in working with pre-school children but would like to learn more, why not come along to one of the following ELC (Early Learning & Childcare) events to find out how you could become an Early Years Officer Modern Apprentice with Fife Council.

  • Tuesday 3 March – 2 session, 2pm & 3pm for 1 hour at Viewfield Church, Dunfermline   
  • Thursday 5 March – 2 session, 2pm & 3pm for 1 hour in Room 11, Rothes Halls, Glenrothes

The development of Fife’s younger children is a high priority for Fife Council. We already have over 150 early years officers either in training, or having completed their training with us, are now in employment.

Councillor Sinclair, Convenor of Education and Children’s Services, said “We’re looking for people from a wide range of backgrounds and experience. Whether you have decided to change direction in your working life or you have been away from working life for a while, this is an opportunity open to all.
