Changes at our recycling centres

This article is more than 3 years old

Firstly we'd like to thanks to the majority of the public for following the restrictions at our recycling centres. Thanks to that we are now able to extend what can be disposed of and how often you can visit.

White goods

From Monday 3rd August you can bring white goods and small electrical appliances to the recycling centres. Visits should still be by one person so they can only bring waste that they can disposed of unaided. These areas will be shared spaces and you will have to make sure you keep a 2 meter distance from other users of the recycling centres.

The bays for all other materials are still there, just go to the next available bay once your booking has been checked.

Multiple visits to our recycling centres

From Monday 10th August you will be able to book more than 1 visit to a recycling centre.

Bookings can be made for up to 3 times in 7 days. This will be monitored for fair use and waste crime. Frequent use will be referred to a Recycling Advisor and abuse will lead to being banned.

We’d like to thank you for continuing to follow the rules that have allowed us to reopened safely.

Information on what can be put in the white goods and small electricals containers, as well as the bookings link can be found at www.fife.gov.uk/recyclingcentres
