Stage status: Pre-planning application
We have layout designs that reflect the outcomes from the public consultation, held at the beginning of 2023. There are two options for each intervention site. The main components of the designs are (depending on the options selected):
- Up to 5 additional disabled parking spaces
- A new zebra crossing
- Up to 20 new seats/benches
- Up to 20 new cycle parking racks
- Up to 8 new trees
- Potential site for ebike hire
- Two new loading areas
- Keep clear markings at the Holy Trinity/ Church Square access
- Use of public realm surfacing materials, where appropriate
Next stage: We will identify a preferred layout and submit an application for planning consent. The proposed layouts are in the publications section below.
