Companion C+1

Children under 5 years old do not need a National Entitlement Card as they already travel for free on commercial bus services across Scotland.

Your child may be eligible for the companion element (+1) on their card if they meet the eligibility criteria for their age group.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Middle or High Care Component of Child Disability Payment (CDP)
• Middle or High rate of the Care element of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• registered Severely Sight Impaired

Application Process: Email the following documents to concessionary.travel@fife.gov.uk:

• CDP or DLA award letter or confirmation of Severe Sight Impairment/VYNCIP registration
• copy of birth certificate or passport
• passport-style photograph of the child
