Renewing your card

If your card will expire soon, it will be renewed automatically if:

• you are 60 or older and your card has a "C" symbol.
• you are sight-impaired and your card has an "eye" symbol.

You don’t need to do anything. A new card will be sent to you.

You need to renew your card yourself if:

• your card has a "C+1" symbol.
• you are under 60 and your card has a "C" symbol.

You’ll get a letter reminding you to renew your card, but you don’t have to wait for the letter; you can renew it online now using the Renew a disabled national entitlement card form.
