Putting People First

This Privacy Notice explains how we use the information we collect about you.

Fife Council uses the personal information provided by you when you or someone on your behalf, completes an initial consent to participate enquiry form.

We will use the information provided by you to assess your application for assistance as part of the Putting People First Programme.

Our legal basis for processing your information is for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Council.

The personal details we gather and use may include information about you and/or members of your family/partner, such as name, contact details, address, date of birth and tenure status.

We share your information included within your application with other Services within Fife Council such as Housing, Community Learning & Development and Social Work in order to assess your application.  We may, if you agree, share your information with an external partner already supporting you.

We will receive information about you from yourself or from someone making a referral on your behalf.

There is no automated decision making in relation to your application.

In the event we did not request and use this information, it would not be possible to process your application.
