Greenspace

The landscape of Fife is a major asset and as such is highly valued and requires to be maintained to the highest possible standards to enhance the overall visual impression of our green spaces.

Greenspace is publicly usable land and includes parks, play parks, woods, allotments, nature areas and playing fields.

In 2011 we produced a Greenspace Strategy to help us increase access to quality public greenspace. We are in the process of creating a second greenspace strategy.  The areas maintained by Fife Council have to be kept to a standard that reflects the priorities of our local communities and the resources available.
