Everyday consumer goods are required by law to have their quantities indicated for the customer. This includes goods that are weighed or measured at the customer's request, or packaged ready for sale.

Calibration Laboratory
Our mass laboratory enables precise and accurate calibration of weights, weighing machines and capacity measures. This enables calibration of weights up to OIML (International Organisation of Legal Metrology) accuracy of M1 Working Standard level.
All calibration work is accompanied by a comprehensive Certificate of Calibration, bearing the Fife Council logo, which are fully traceable to National Standards.
