Animal licences

The licencing of activities involving farm animals is now undertaken by other agencies outwith the local authority.

To obtain a county parish holding number, see: www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-a-county-parish-holding-cph-number.

For animal movements, see: www.scoteid.com/

To obtain a flock number (sheep) or herd number (goats), see: APHA.Scotland@apha.gov.uk

Fife Council's policy is to drive up animal licensing standards, particularly for welfare of animals and to ensure the protection of consumers.
