Self-Catering Properties

Dwelling houses which are used for self-catering holiday accommodation purposes can, in certain circumstances, be listed in the Non-Domestic Valuation Roll instead of the Council Tax List. The eligibility of such properties is checked on an annual basis. For more information, please visit the Fife Assessors website: https://www.saa.gov.uk/non-domestic-valuation/self-catering

If you have self-catering holiday accommodation currently on the council tax list and believe it should be listed in the Non-Domestic Valuation roll as a commercial self-catering property, contact the Fife Assessor at fife.assessor@fife.gov.uk

If you have a self-catering property on the Non-Domestic Valuation roll and wish to apply for small business bonus relief, please complete an application at www.fife.gov.uk/sbbs All the information required to complete the application can be found on your Non-Domestic Rates Demand Notice.
