Education support
The Gypsy and Traveller Education Team (GATE) supports children, young people and families across Fife.
GATE works with:
- schools
- parents and carers
- partner organisations
GATE can:
- support learning on sites, in schools and in council buildings
- provide alternative learning opportunities for young people who cannot attend school regularly
- promote understanding of Gypsy/Traveller culture in schools
- support parents to be involved in their child's education
