9:00-17:00. Lunchtime closure 12:30-13:00. Open 7 days a week. Do not visit without a booking.


Access: Bookings must be made online to access this site Please remember to bring your booking confirmation email and driving license or a council tax bill as proof of address. There will be no entry without a booking. For more information please read the COVID19 access policy and site rules

Vehicles: Cars, small & medium sized vans (including pickups, passenger and camper vans) and trailers under 6ft long (including hitch post) and 4ft wide only - no large vans, mobile homes, tippers or other commercial type vehicles. Trailers will be directed to a bay with limited materials, see below list. Trailers can be towed by a car, car derived van, double cab pickup only, any other vehicle increases the overall vehicle length and volume of waste and cannot be accommodated.   Only 1 person is allowed per vehicle unless the item being disposed of is too heavy to be handled by a single person. In this instance two members from the same household can attend the Recycling Centre and exit the vehicle to dispose of the item.

Once on site: The Recycling Centre is laid out differently to accommodate social distancing. Signs are in place to help your visit. Site staff cannot help dispose of waste but will be on hand to answer any questions, please follow their instructions. Please keep 2m apart from site staff and other users at all times. Appointments for cars are 10 minutes and 20 minutes for larger vehicles. Please have waste separated to ease disposal and prevent traffic issues.

Materials: The materials accepted for cars and vans are:

  • Landfill waste that:
    • Is not suitable for reuse.
    • Cannot be recycled.
  • Green garden waste
  • Paper/cardboard
  • Cans and plastics
  • Wood (includes MDF and logs)
  • Metal
  • White Goods such as washing machines and fridges.
  • Small electrical and electronic equipment. If it has a plug or a battery, then bring it in
  • Soil and rubble
  • Mattresses
  • Carpet
  • TV’s and monitors
  • Vehicle oil
  • Fluorescent light bulbs/tubes
  • Car batteries
  • Household batteries
  • Empty gas cylinders
  • Books

The materials accepted for trailers are:

  • Landfill waste that:
    • Is not suitable for reuse.
    • Cannot be recycled.
  • Soil and rubble including turf
  • Green garden waste
  • Wood (includes MDF and logs)

No other materials will be accepted

Examples of waste that cannot be brought to the sites:

  • Fire and smoke alarms
  • Asbestos
  • Textiles
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Tyres

Food waste bags are not available at any of our Recycling Centres.

Once you have finished disposing of your waste, please sanitise your hands (bring your own) and leave the site.
