Staff are happy to help with any questions on site, but they are unable to help you dispose of your waste

We will not tolerate threatening behaviour towards our recycling centre staff.

Tyres Check with local companies for safe disposal.
Asbestos Check with local companies for safe removal and disposal.
Hazardous or chemical waste
(including petrol or diesel)
Contact a licensed contractor, there will be a fee for their service.
Never pour chemicals down the drain or in your household bins.
Paint

Check with local charities; they may reuse it.

If you still need to dispose of paint:

  • remove the lid and let it harden naturally, then put the lid back on, or
  • mix the paint with sand or cat litter to solidify it
  • take it to your local recycling centre for disposal

Our recycling centres can only be accessed with a motor vehicle.

Children under the age of 12 and pets must remain inside your vehicle at all times.
