Waid Community Use is now operating in the NEW Waid Community Campus from the 12th June 2017. Waid Community Use first opened in 1974, with the McArthur Community Sports Centre completed in 2003. Our aim is to promote participation in sport, learning and leisure activities.

We offer a range of evening classes to suit different ages, interests and ability levels. Full details of all our classes, facilities and programme leaflets are available from reception. The programme changes from time to time, check this web site for particulars.

The opening of the new Waid Community Campus now offers a variety of high quality facilities to hire. The new campus offers meeting rooms, a new fitness suite and gym along with a seated auditorium and stage. Sports facilities are also available in a modern sports hall and a new floodlit. full size 3G artificial pitch.

We are open in the evening on weekdays and on Saturday mornings during school term only. During the Summer and October school holidays we offer some holiday activities for children, please check the website for details.
