Overview

Ferrytoll Park & Ride opened in 2000, offering free parking and allowing you to catch a bus to Edinburgh, including the airport, Glasgow, and around Fife.

The park & ride is run by:

  • Fife Council, who look after the car park and buildings
  • Stagecoach East Scotland, who run most of the buses and has staff on site

Ferrytoll Park & Ride has been awarded a Park Mark, a police-backed award that recognises safe and well-managed car parks. Find out more at: www.parkmark.co.uk

Where is it?

Ferrytoll Park & Ride is:

  • just south of Inverkeithing
  • next to the A90 at Ferrytoll Interchange
  • look for signs on the A90 that say “Park & Ride”

How long can I stay?

You can park for free, and currently, we ask you to stay for a maximum of 7 nights.

Can I stay overnight?

Yes, overnight parking is allowed.

What about motorhomes?

If you have a motorhome, you can use Halbeath Park & Ride. It has more space and no height limit.

  • Two car parks: one multi-storey and one outside
  • 1,042 parking spaces, including 28 for disabled drivers and 11 pick-up drop-off bays
  • 11 spaces for picking up or dropping off passengers near the main building
  • A covered path to the main building
  • CCTV and lights for safety

  • 4 electric car charging points
  • Shelters with seats at the bus stops
  • A postbox and a phone that takes cards only

Stagecoach buses at Ferrytoll Park & Ride:

  • Services to Dunfermline, St Andrews and around Fife
  • Express buses to and from Edinburgh
  • JET747 bus to and from Edinburgh Airport
