A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Strategic Planning and Performance to join the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, providing strategic leadership as a core member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is one of the larger Health and Social Care Partnerships in Scotland, serving the stunning and diverse Kingdom of Fife on Scotland’s East coast. We provide health and social care to a population of more than 380,000 people and lead a workforce of around 7,000 staff. We support a Team Fife approach with NHS Fife, Fife Council, the independent and voluntary sectors.
The post holder will become a member of the Senior Leadership Team and report directly to the Director of Health and Social Care. You will have line management responsibility and accountability for managing, developing and providing leadership to the following services across Fife within the Health and Social Care Partnership:

We are looking to appoint a driven and inspiring individual who has the ability to manage and lead complex transformation and deliver wide ranging and sustainable service developments. As a team player you will be committed to collaboration and partnership working whilst ensuring the highest standards of strategic and operational management working closely with both the Senior and Extended Leadership team.
Shortlisted candidates will require to participate in a range of assessment activities including behavioural profiling, a real play exercise (with stakeholders) and a values/competency based interview. These activities will all contribute to testing candidate competence.
It is anticipated that shortlisted candidates will be notified by Friday 25th July 2025.
If shortlisted, you will be asked to complete a behavioural profiling exercise during Tuesday 29th July 2025. The real play exercise will be in person in Fife House on Monday 4th August 2025 and the formal interview will take place in person in Fife House on Monday 11th August 2025.

Leading and coordinating the development of the Strategic Plan for all delegated functions, ensuring the delivery of the commissioning arrangements are aligned to the implementation of the plan, effective delivery of the Partnership’s performance management framework and the delivery of key programmes of change which create efficient use of Fife wide resources.
