This spring, we’re spending £375,000 improving the road network in Inverkeithing.
We’ll be resurfacing Hope Street, Inverkeithing from Monday 13 April to Friday 29 May 2026.
Location
Hope Street is the main access road from the south into Inverkeithing. It leads to Ferrytoll Park and Ride and the M90. Traffic may be slower and you may experience delays; please allow extra time for your journey.
Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained wherever possible.
Thank you for your patience and co-operation as we’re improving the road network.
Works Programme
The project will involve:
- removing existing road surface
- ironwork repairs
- resurfacing
- reinstating road markings
Temporary traffic management will be used:
- temporary traffic lights
- restricted on-street parking within the works area
- footpath closures where necessary
Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained wherever possible. Pedestrians will be safely moved around the works and deliveries or bin collections will be managed where possible.
