This winter, we’re spending £617,810 improving the road network in North East Fife.
We’ll be resurfacing A914 Cupar Road from Kettlebridge to Pitlessie. Also, we’ll be resurfacing the pavement between North Street and Mid Street and upgrading the streetlights on Cupar Road, Kettlebridge. This work will take place from Monday 16 February to Friday 27 March 2026.
Location
These roadworks are on the main road through the villages, so traffic may be slower and you might experience delays. Please allow extra time for your journey. Temporary traffic lights will be in place to manage traffic and keep everyone safe.
Thank you for your patience and co-operation as we’re improving the road network.

- The pavement will be closed from Monday 16 February to Friday 6 March.
- Pedestrians will be diverted via North Street and Mid Street. There will be traffic lights on Cupar Road between these streets during this time.

- When we’re resurfacing this section, we’ll switch to full-time temporary traffic lights until complete.
