People are being invited to a public drop-in event to find out more about plans for Kirkcaldy town centre and waterfront and help shape the next stage of work.
The event will take place at the Adam Smith Theatre on Tuesday 25 August, between 2pm and 8pm.
Over the past few months, Fife Council has been working with local people, businesses, community groups and other organisations to develop a long-term plan for the town centre and waterfront. Hundreds of people have already shared their ideas through community events, conversations and online engagement activities.
The feedback gathered so far has helped identify what matters most to people, including improving public spaces, making better use of key sites, supporting local businesses, celebrating Kirkcaldy's heritage and strengthening links to the waterfront.
The drop-in event will provide an update on the work to date and give people an opportunity to see how their feedback is helping to shape plans for the future and how the Growth Mission project fits in. Members of the project team will be on hand throughout the event to answer questions and listen to views.
Councillor Ian Cameron, Convener of Kirkcaldy Area Committee, said: "We know people care deeply about Kirkcaldy and want to see a positive future for the town centre and waterfront."
