Scottish Water will be carrying out emergency repair works from Monday 9 February 2026 at the junction of Sea Road and Hawthorn Street, Methilhill following a burst water main.

Scottish Water plans to temporarily close the Hawthorn Street junction and suspend parking opposite on Sea Road which will keep two-way traffic flowing on Sea Road. A signposted local diversion will be in place.
