Residents across the Cowdenbeath Area are invited to a free community event showcasing work delivered by Council services and partners through Plan4Cowdenbeath over the past three years.
The Plan4Cowdenbeath covers a wide area, including: Cowdenbeath, Crossgates, Hill of Beath, Lochgelly, Benarty, Lumphinnans, Kelty and Cardenden.
The event is an opportunity to explore what has been achieved, meet the teams involved and share views on the work delivered. Feedback will help us set local priorities for the future.
The event takes place on Thursday 1 October 2026, from 2.30pm to 6.30pm, at Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre, Pit Road, Cowdenbeath.
Visitors can find out about local projects, services, support and opportunities. There will be information stalls, free refreshments and activities for children, making the event suitable for all ages.
Anne-Marie Vance, Community Manager for the Cowdenbeath Area, said: “This is a chance to celebrate what Council services and partners have achieved together over the past three years and to hear what local people think should happen next.
“Whether you want to find out more about our work, meet the people behind projects or simply have your say, we would love to see you there.
“If you need support to travel to the event, a free bus service is being arranged from surrounding communities to help ensure everyone is able to participate.”
To reserve a place on the free transport or discuss travel arrangements, contact the Community Learning and Development Team at CLD.Cowdenbeath@fife.gov.uk or call 03451 555 555 ext 406816.
