People living in Kirkcaldy, Burntisland, Kinghorn and the surrounding communities are being encouraged to share their views on the final draft of the Kirkcaldy Area Transport Plan.

The consultation gives residents, businesses and community groups the opportunity to comment on proposals designed to improve travel and connectivity across the area, including walking, wheeling, cycling, public transport, traffic and parking. The feedback received will help inform the final version of the plan.

The plan covers a wide range of communities across the Kirkcaldy area, including Auchtertool, Burntisland, Dysart, Kinghorn, and Kirkcaldy neighbourhoods. Residents are encouraged to review the proposals and share their experiences of getting around the area.

The consultation is open until Sunday 27 September 2026. Responses can be submitted online at: www.fife.gov.uk/areatransportplan

Completed paper surveys can be returned to the venue where they were collected by Sunday 27 September 2026.  

Anyone with an interest in transport and travel in the Kirkcaldy area is encouraged to take part and help shape future priorities for the area.
