Annual Accounts 2025-26 Public Inspection Notice

Fife Council, Fife Pension Fund, Fife Council Charitable Trusts and Fife
Integration Joint Board accounts for the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March
2026

Notice is hereby given in accordance with sections 101 and 195 of the 1973 Local
Government (Scotland) Act and Regulation 9(1) and 9(3a) of the Local Authority
Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2014 that;

An unaudited copy of the Fife Council, Fife Pension Fund and Fife Council Charitable
Trust accounts will be available to view at www.fife.gov.uk/annualaccounts and an
unaudited copy of the Fife Integration Joint Board accounts will be available to view at
www.fifehealthandsocialcare.org.

The unaudited accounts will be available for public inspection at Fife House, North
Street, Glenrothes, Fife between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
for the 15 working days from 1st July 2026 to 22nd July 2026 (inclusive). The public holiday on 20th July is not a working day for the Council.

Any such persons interested may inspect the unaudited accounts and all books,
deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto and may take copies of
any or all parts of the accounts free of charge.

Any person interested may object to the accounts or to any part of those Accounts, no
later than 23rd July 2026 by;

  • sending their objection in writing, together with a statement of the grounds thereof,
    to the appointed auditor, Karen Jones, Azets Audit Services, Quay 2, 139
    Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, EH3 9QG (for Fife Council, Fife Pension Fund, and Fife
    Council Charitable Trust accounts):
  • sending their objection in writing, together with a statement of the grounds thereof,
    to the appointed auditor, Chris Brown, Azets Audit Services, Quay 2, 139
    Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, EH3 9QG (for Fife Integration Joint Board);

A copy of that objection and statement must also be sent to the Head of Finance, Fife
Council, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes, Fife, KY7 5LT, by 23rd July 2026.

Any person who makes any such objection has the right to appear before and be heard
by the Auditors, Azets Audit Services, either personally or by a representative with
respect to that objection, either on a face-to-face basis or conducted remotely using
appropriate electronic communication.
