In January, we’re investing £30,000 improving the road network in Glenrothes town centre.
We’ll be resurfacing the road and renewing the road markings at Marchmont Gate, from Monday 12 January for seven days.
Location
Marchmont Gate is one of the main entrances to the Kingdom Shopping Centre. As part of the works, the car park, taxi rank and access to the multi‑storey car park from Marchmont Gate will be closed. Access to the multi‑storey car park will instead be available from North Street.
Thank you for your patience and co-operation as we’re improving the road network in Glenrothes.
Works Programme
- Working hours, Monday to Sunday, 8am to 3.30pm.
- Road closure will be 24 hours a day.
- Diversion route to multi-storey car park via Church St, Rothes Road and North Street.

Communications
Regular updates will be provided through our social media channels and website. Road signs will be displayed at key locations to warn road users of the roadworks.
