Councillors on the Kirkcaldy Area Committee have agreed that statutory consultation notices should be published so that the following changes can be made to roads in Burntisland:
- The installation of a speed hump on the A921 Kinghorn Road
- The introduction of 20mph speed limits on various streets
- The introduction of a 40mph speed limit on the A909 Cowdenbeath Road
Councillor Ian Cameron, Convener of the Kirkcaldy Area Committee, said: “Keeping people safe is paramount, whether they’re a pedestrian or driving.
“I’m delighted that the committee has agreed to allow our Roads & Transportation Service to promote these changes so that we can ensure our roads are safe.”
