Mental Health First Aid

Fife Council Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) are trained employees who have volunteered to offer a confidential listening ear, over the phone, in person or via a voice or video call on Microsoft Teams to help you with any mental health concern you may have.

Fife Council will process your personal data to ensure that it is complying with its legal obligations, e.g., health and safety law compliance.

The information we may gather about you will include:

  • Name
  • E-Mail address
  • Any other information provided by you when you contact the MHFA.

This is a confidential service and only if you share information that could pose a significant risk to yourself or a health and safety risk to you, your colleagues, or the public, will we share the minimum information necessary with H.R., your line manager, or any other appropriate service, including the emergency services.
