Fife Council uses the personal information provided by you within your Fuel Bank Voucher application to process and arrange for a voucher to be supplied by Fuel Bank Foundation.
In order to provide a Fuel Bank Voucher we have checks to complete to confirm eligibility following the Fuel Bank Foundation’s criteria.
The personal information we gather and use includes name, address, email address, household make up, information as to other supports received, status of gas/electricity meter and any other personal circumstances.
At times we may share your information with other Council Services e.g. Housing, Social Work, Education.
We also provide your information to the Fuel Bank Foundation and energy partner Cosy Kingdom to enable us to deliver this service.
We may also receive information about you from other Fife Council Services such as Welfare Support or Housing .
We may receive supporting information from you via the additional proofs you provide to enable your application to be assessed, for example proof of address or evidence of meter being low.
We may obtain information about you when a Council employee fills in a form requesting a fuel bank voucher on your behalf.
We may, on occasion, contact you to seek feedback on the service we have provided to you.
In the event that we did not request and use this information then it would not be possible to provide you with a fuel bank voucher.
