Roads & Transportation/Flooding, Shoreline & Harbours Service collect, process and hold your personal information to deliver our services, such as:
- Flood Risk Management
- Harbour Management
- Coastal Management
Roads & Transportation has a duty to provide these services in order to ensure:
- Compliance with Regulatory or legislative requirements, such as the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009, Coast Protection Act 1949 and Harbours (Scotland) Act 2015; and
- Compliance with Health and Safety.

- Name, address, telephone/mobile numbers and email address.
We do not share your personal information with any external organisations. We may, on occasion, share anonymised information with other Council Services or Elected Members.
We will receive information about you from yourself when you contact us directly.
In the event that we did not request and use this information then it would not be possible to carry out our statutory functions.
